The Visit

Well its the 4th day of Chinese New Year holidays and for 2 days I haven't seen the Sun. It has been raining on and off for the whole day and it feels kinda depressing. No I don't have seasonal affective disorder lol.

Yesterday I had another violin class and my tutor is such a kind girl because she only asked me to pay for 30 minutes of class but sometimes she teaches me about an hour. The extra 30 minutes is free of charge! hahaha XD Cool!

Later in the day, my dad and I went to my aunt's house to take my grandma over to my house. At my aunt's, I play around with my favorite 'kid' cousin who is at 10 years of age. I've played with him since he was a toddler. I know I've said that kids are pests...but this particular boy, Iqbal (I call him Ball), practically worships me lol and he has a high intelligence and could think logically at even a young age. Which reminds me of me. So sometimes I would teach him the tricks of chess and now he would put up a real fight to anyone. The one thing that I like so much about Ball is discipline! Which many other vermin seemed to lack.

So whenever my granny comes, she'll have the tv all to herself so I'm stuck in my room reading and revising my Spanish because I'll be teaching Kristine and Shoony this language. They seem to be enthusiastic though. Good for them :)

So since my grandma watches the ridiculous bollywood movies, my dad got bored as well since he too can't watch the tv. So today he went to work, although at all times, when I'm at home , he'll be there as well...lol XD

My mom rants about taking care of her. Because she has list that she mustn't do or give my granny. Don't ask me...I lack the patience to do anything. My mom also said that if my dad goes out to work, we can't go out to shop because we can't bring granny with us and she can't stay home alone because she'll be like a rat searching for sweet stuffs...Damn!

I want this holiday to end quickly...I effing hate it when someone disturbs my harmony. I think one day I'll compile all of those people who is of nuisance to me into a group called The Axis of Vexes. Doesn't sound half bad if you ask me...got the root word from Pride and Prejudice storybook XD

TKD-B4-CNY

Well actually there wasn't anything much to write about today since its already a holiday for me since yesterday till next Sunday.

Today's planner shows that I have a violin class at 1100 and Taekwondo class at 1830. So the morning start of when I woke up at 0900 and while waiting for my music teacher to arrive, I watched some cartoons. More specifically SpongeBob SquarePants.

Then during music class which went on for about 45 minutes, Cindy gave me some really tough practice. Although I kinda get the hold of it, but since I started at my 19 which is way too old to learn violin...well lets just say I'm kind of a fast learner lol XD.

After class I watched a replay of yesterday's American Idol 10 and was laughing at the way Steven Tyler express his expression.

Later on at about around 1400 I had lunch but not a heavy one because I have TKD and unless I wanna puke during the class I'd better don't. So I watched tv for a little while before I head up to take a nap before my mom sends me to Sunway-U. Usually I take a nap in my parents' room because its cooler and if I have to sleep in my room I have to switch on the AC which in the end will make the room to cold and makes me drift away and sleep forever~

In there, my dad told me that his mother's coming over for the holidays. I said ok to him although I was actually thinking "Oh shit...no tv for me T.T". This is because my granny always watch the Zee channel where all the bollywood stuff is in there. Obviously all of those 'things' were not my type! Damn I'm gonna have an extremely lousy holiday...

In TKD class, today Master Tony and Yuen Wai came to conduct the class, which means I don't have to (yaaay XD)...Prior to the class, I predicted that it will be a top notch pain-in-the-ass class...it turns out my prediction went off course. Nevertheless, I got 1 blister on my left foot!

Intelligence Class - Crap & More Crap...

It's Thursday today and supposedly, my Data Comm class should start today and Dr. Goh will be substituted by his assistant it seems.

So today my class starts at 1100 and it's intro to psych class first. Unfortunately, my dad thought that today's class starts at 0800 as it is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Therefore we woke me up in my room at around 0540! I was stupefied for a moment as I don't see sunlight through my window. So when I look at the watch...I saw the time and went to my parents' room and told my dad that today's class starts at 1100. He said "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" and so I said "You already put it in your phone as a reminder and you're blaming me??". Later, he said "Yalah yalah...go back to sleepla" XD

Indeed I woke up at 0845 for class and after breakfast we were on our way to my campus when suddenly all the car in KL alone was like concentrated in the bloody highway. Seriously...can't these bastards in the Damansara toll do anything?? What a poorly planned road!

In the end, I reached campus at around 1035 and went straight up to class. When I got to the top floor I saw many of my classmates were outside of the auditorium...the old bat was there as well.There I met with Shoony, Kristine and Cheese. There were all seating next to the auditorium door standing while Kristine sat on the only chair there is.

Kristine and Shoony told me that both of them thought that the class starts at 1000 Cheese said that she had a class previously. Then I saw El by the library's window looking for me perhaps but due to the crowd, she was unable to see me. She was about to call me when she finally saw me waving at her. She came towards us and we talked. Although it was kinda hard to hear when the Old Bat was making such a commotion with some other students right behind us. Later, we went inside the auditorium through the back entrance.

On the screen was a powerpoint template on drug abuse. El said that this subject is interesting claimed by her friend or whatever. Then she said to me "Don't tell me that she's having an attack again" and I was like "Huh? Attack? Who??" before I came to realize that it was Aira she was talking about. El called her and Aira said that she's somewhere in Bangsar. Which means she's coming to class, obviously!

Afterwards, the lecturer that was supposed to substitute for Dr. Goh came in and have a little chat with the drug abuse lecturer.

As the class finally starts, she began mumbling about herself and how she was more of a comedian than a lecturer. At the time, she sound quite the character that might be good to make us understand today's lecture well. Sadly, that wasn't the case.

She's teaching about intelligence today, hence the title of this post. When she teaches, she hardly lectured according to script and as time and time again she would deviate from the slides given to her by Dr. Goh if I'm not mistaken. Only later she told the class that she was actually assigned to this class by Mr. Phun (The guy with no sense time!) and was not told the nature of this class as a 2nd semester class. When I heard she said Phun's name...I knew that it wasn't her fault that she went in deeper than the slides. But what I can't understand is, posterior to her statement, she still crapped deeper into history of IQ till the end of the class.

After the class has ended, I waited for Shoony and Kristine outside the auditorium. Kristine came to me asking for change since her friend who wanted the book has no change. Therefore I gave her RM 20 and she gave me 50. Then as we were about to head out, rain started and it seems to get heavier although in the end it was as heavy as expected. I got onto the bus to the main block to have my lunch. When I got on the bus, I saw Yen Yin there and chatted with her till I got to the main block.

When I reached there, I was shocked when I saw El and Aira was seating there. Surprised by this, I ask them "How the hell did you get here before I did??", then Aira said that she drove her car here and was waiting for Izyan before I got here. I told them that I have a class at 1400 and so I might not be able to follow them to Pizza Hut. But in the end I thought that "If that bastard lecturer could postpone the class for 3 effin weeks, I can come late to class. He scolds me I'll blast him back to India...end of story". So, after the thought, I decided to go with them.

At Pizza Hut, Aira is using her ticket or voucher or something...to get pizzas for RM 1 only if I'm not mistaken. There we talked and talked and talked. Most of the time I was just listening to what Izyan was complaining - her boyfriend's use of religion to manipulate her or something like that. Then they talked about me and then some profiling rubbish.

Out of the blue, El said "I think I want you to stop being half honest with me". I was like "Huh? Are you serious? Let me tell you this: Once you wave the bar, you can never bar me again. So I'm giving you the chance to think again!". After that, she said "Hmmm...you made me think twice. I'll think about it". And so I said ok...I'll wait for your answer...and I'll keep prodding you just in case you forgot to think about it. (She actually barred me from being too honest with her, which in turn suppressed many untold things to her hahaha XD).

When it was already 1430, I told them that I need to go for class. But when I got there no one was in the class and I called Khan. He said that the class was canceled again. As soon as I heard that, I went back to Pizza Hut. When I arrive they smiled (I don't have to ask them what they were talking about after I left: People say that a picture is worth a thousand words. But in my world the face does exactly that!)

After all the food, Aira and Izyan was still feeling hungry. Aira said that she might be hungry because she's trying to quit smoking. So after we paid the bill, we went to Secret Recipe next door. Before we go in I asked "You're not serious about going in right??". It seems they were dead serious!

There I was already feeling sleepy after the lunch and so while Aira, El and Izyan wa talking, I grabbed my book and started reading my 3000th book. And it seems that people kept asking me the question that I actually counted how many books I've read. I said "Yes" of course. Afterward, the need to go to their class and so they left and I had to wait for my dad for around 1 hour because the jam was absolutely ridiculous. And so I waited while YouTube-ing again~...That's it for today then.

The Lesson

Well...what turn out to be a happy day at 1st was turned upside down in a matter of seconds.

The day starts as I arrived earlier today since the jam was not as terrible as it was yesterday. And it seems that for the rest of the semester, our quantitative analysis class will be held at the KPD A-Auditorium 2.

So when I arrive, I went straight to the auditorium to get a seat. After a few minutes have passed, I realized some new faces in class. So at 1st I thought that maybe I was just ignoring them all this while. Later, as more and more of them got into the auditorium, the more people that I don't recognize seems to be surrounding me. This got me suspicious and went out to see whether I was in the right class. Embarrassingly, I didn't know there were 2 bloody auditoriums in this block because I assumed that all blocks have one and only one. Then I saw the other auditorium and went in.

So as I got into the class, immediately I received chills as it was very cold indeed. So cold that I have to leave my sleeves down the entire time. It seems today we were unable to seat at our usual coordinates because our lecturer doesn't use the mic and so it would be harder to seat anywhere else than the middle.

As the class started, there were still no sign off El and Aira. Shoony and I reserved a seat for each of them by putting our bags there. At 1st I thought Aira weren't coming because of her sickness again. But that doesn't answer the question of why El wasn't there. So I suspect that either El was unable to find a parking or she was waiting for Aira to accompany her. Till the end I never got the chance to answer this question.

Winnee has a strict code of conduct that she requires all of her student to obey. One infraction of her codes meant penalty and when Winnee gives penalties it will be in the form of a quiz...usually annoying ones.

One of her rules was not to let her hear a phone ring during class. Unfortunately, that was what exactly happened today which triggered a chain of untimely punishments to the whole class. And she promised that most of us will not be able to answer a punishment set of queations. She wasn't kidding!

As time went on, she scolded half the class for not bringing our notes. Frankly speaking, I didn't even know that we're supposed to bring those papers and so we were given another penalty. Then towards the end she gave us another penalty just because we packed our bags!...imagine that~

Besides the 3 penalties we were given 2 quizzes for everyone to answer and so all together we have 5 quizzes today. To many of us, Winnee is one rabid porcupine! She's stiff, inarticulate, slightly jaundiced, she's cruel yet fair and she's obsessed with order and cleanliness as well as in constant PMS! That pretty much sums it all...

During break, Aira told us about her ordeal with her asthmatic bronchitis. It was dreadful for her it seems. Although she's trying not to show it too much to us...that's probably best. I asked her whether it was terminal, she didn't answer the question and El protested to me not to say or ask that and so I left the question cold...

Another thing that I noticed about Winnee in this class was that she used a tissue paper just to flick the light switch! Daaaamn her house must've been spotless and smells like a freakin hospital.

Later I went to the main block with El, Aira and Izyan. We laughed all the way about our uniform units. Then I separated from them since I have a class at 1300 and I'm hungry. Thus, I went to Subway.

Then, I went to HELP and as always...used the Wi-Fi to watch YouTube till my watch touched 1345. And as I got into class I chat with some of my friends...this time its all guys. Man its awkward for me to do that lol...I asked them whether we will have our data comm class tomorrow or has it been canceled again. Well it seems I do have class tomorrow from 1400 to 1700 in the afternoon. That bastard lecturer better not be canceling our class for the 4th time!

Since I am the only psychology student in class, my programming lecturer formally introduced me to the class and when he said I'm from the psychology department, they went like "oooooo..." and then this one guy asked the most stupidest question "So you can read our mindlaa?" I sighed and I said sarcastically "Oh yes we can...like for example: Would like me to tell everyone why you're wearing the same jacket to class everyday?" (It just so happen that I noticed this particular thing about this guy...he has dandruff in his hair like snowflakes! But he covered it with his jacket and so it seems normal enough to everyone else.). After that he kept quite and I can literary see their jaws dropped LOL XD.

Then there was this girl asked me (finally a girl~) "Do another one!". I looked at my lecturer and I was like giving him the 'enough' expression. Apparently he just wants to disturb the newbie. Like I said this class is a fun class! So I told her "You...you have a boyfriend yes?". "Yes!" and I said "Good. I'm getting a feeling that you and him just got together yes?". "Omg. Yes...how did you know that?". "Quiet!...in a few minutes he will sms you...we'll wait and see". After 3 minutes, her phone vibrated and she didn't say anything. Then I said..."okok enough I want to study!! Next time I'll do more ok" (Like HELL! I thought).

Let me tell the actual truth of my cold reading: I don't actually know that she has a boyfriend I took a wild guess, thank God it was right. The part where I said the phone will ring in a few minutes was actually something that I deduced about her during class as her phone will almost naturally vibrate every other minute (quite annoying nevertheless~)...so I made the connection and took the risk. Hahaha thank God for that lovely class today or I might get nightmares about Winnee giving me penalty quizzes with a whiplash! Lol XD

P.S. There's no such thing as a psychic!!

Taboo, Boggle & Scrabble

Well came Tuesday, and this means I have to wake up super early in the morning like 0545 to get to class early.

As I arrive at 0730 since my dad took a slow ride all the way through, I was able to go to the auditorium as they would have already open at around this time. When I got in, I saw Izram seating at my place and I was like "Shiiiit~". So when I got to him his face looked like it just came off the toilet bowl, it turns out he was sick and was coughing like Yoda. In other words 'old man'.

So I sat next to him since I'm not going to sit at the far side just to get away from his potential viral contagion. Soon Shoony came and I began ranting to her of what are we going to do during the 4-break we have, well its actually 4.5 hours of break for me. And she'll reply me with the same phrase all the time "I also don't knowlaaa..." typical.

Today's lecture by Goh almost made my eye close after 30 minutes into class. Seriously, learning has been such a pain in the head since last year as we have to study the same bloody thing again and again....and again~.

When El arrived before the class she looked like she's been hasting to make it to class. I, on the other hand was reading my book. Without further a due, she told me of Aira's condition where she had been admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to a severe asthma attack. Note To Self (-. . ...- . .-. ... -- --- -.- .)

El asked me "Didn't she tell you about this?" and I said "Haha...she never did~". Then El told me that Aira asked the Doc how bad was her condition from a scale of 1 to 10. The Doc might have tore her heart when he told her that it was 9/10. Which is arguably the worst news she's had if you ask me. I'm suppose to feel sad for her, but I just realize that I was incapable of doing so...maybe the effects was not there yet, that's probably why. I'm not a psychopath if that's what you're thinking!

I sent an sms to her telling her to get well soon, then she asked me whether did she miss anything important. Well from what I see, there's no point in coming to class for this 3 weeks at all apart from coming for quantitative analysis.

So after the class Shoony, Kristine and I took the bus to the main block and make our way to Ali Maju to have breakfast. While there we chatted about languages and then the naughty stuff seeps in as they were talking about vaginas and penises so loud that I had to break in and tell them (well actually Shoony) to lower their volume...a loud mouthed one this girl!

After a while, we decided to go to the main block's DSA. I have expected it to look and probably smell bad since the whole bloody building is like from the Dark Ages. Well my theory wasn't half right nor half wrong. It does look and smell kinda old but not too much.

So Kristine recommended us to play this game called Taboo. This game goes like you have to take one card up and try to describe as well as possible for the players to guess correctly. In the end, Shoony guessed like almost a quarter of the whole pack and I only have around 16 I think. So when we see the analysis, I happen to score more on world history whereas Shoony got most of her point on item-based words. Kristine was being such a clear speaker.

Next, we played Boggle where we have to make out a minimum of a 3-letter word from a 4 x 4 matrix table. After a while, this game got a little boring and I can't understand why its so small to begin with. Definitely not a game I will ever lay my hands on anymore. I would highly recommend it to garbage collectors!

Finally we played Scrabble, and to be frank, this was the 1st time I'm playing it with points counted. While playing, I got loads of terrible tiles and was unable to make out words from it and had to pass once because I need to reset my tiles. In the end, Kristine, Shoony and I got 131 (not that sure), 113 and 96 respectively. We ended the game because Kristine and Shoony need to go for class.

While waiting for class to start, again I surfed the net on my phone doing this and that.

When the class starts, my lecturer asked me whether did I finish yesterdays assignment already or not and I answered yes. He looked shocked as apparently almost half the class have not completed theirs. Then he asked me what other IT subjects am I taking. I said that I am actually a psych student who's taking this subject as an elective and I also told him that I came to this class with '0' knowledge on IT. Then he said that he will turn his radar to me to make sure that I get better. After that he asked again how come I was able to do the assignment and I said..."I have a good teacher and I learn fast". Actually when I say teacher I meant Farzane, he thought I was talking about him LOL XD.

My Help??

Well I have not been writing for the past 5 days or so because I was quite busy with some programming assignments. Therefore I will skip what happened on those few days and bring it to present days' events.

Being in the only psychology student doing IT is pretty a sad case for me until I got the hang of it and found it to be quite interesting.

So today started off with me waking up late since I have no classes till 1500 which is my programming class of course. So I took my own sweet time like watching tv and read my 3000th book which is called The Interpretation of Murder. Its a book where psychoanalysis founder Sigmund Freud and his protege Carl Jung is the main character. This book is perfect to mark my 3000th book count.

While I was reading, Khan, a classmate of mine in programming class asked me for some help on last weeks' assignment. So I was thinking...I'm a bloody beginner and you're asking my help?? On the side, I did finish my assignment where I have to write about 9 specific programs. So for this guy to not being able to do was something that I was proud of myself. P.S. He has been doing IT for the past 2 years! hahaha what a gag.

At 1300 I got ready and my dad sent me to campus. While driving he complained with a sigh "What the hell am I going to do for 3 hours?". I didn't say anything because he'll just counteract it as always.

I arrived at campus at around 1335 or so and went all the way back through the hallway to get to my class which looks like a bloody 1 kilometer away from the entrance. When I got in front of the class, obviously there was still a class in it because it was still early. So I sat outside while YouTube-ing till it was time for class.

While I waited Farzane interrupted me saying that since I'm not doing anything useful...she would want to teach me stuffs about Python (a computer language). She taught me for almost 45 minutes when the class finally starts.

Today's class was a tutorial so we made use of the computer labs there. The lecturer gave us another assignment to be submitted this Saturday. As for me, I have completed 80% of it in class itself while others are still stuck somewhere in the middle. I have to give credit to the lecturer since he helped me a great deal in IT stuff since I'm the only one with no prior knowledge of it.

Then came a guy asking me how to make a conversion program. I tried teaching him how to do it but I understood that he doesn't. I've always known that I'm an atrocious teacher when it comes to verbal teaching. But I can always do it visually without a problem. So I just let him copy my work and try to understand it from there. Yeah so by helping others I get to understand it more right? I suppose it is true...

During class, May sms-ed me saying that she wants to meet me again tomorrow morning at 1100 I wonder what could she possibly want this time. Although I'm not trying to complaint...I love my buddies especially those who misses my ruthless verbal abuse (I call it abuse all the time but they seem to be coming back for more...lol).

Well that's it for today...although it's a little bit short since there was nothing much that had happened today. So I'll end it with a quote...

Secret Recipe - Reconciliation

This is the 1st time I'm using a restaurants' name as a part of the title of the post. Well as the title suggest its about a small reunion between May, Thevam and myself. Ever since we graduated, I have yet to see them in person apart from Twitter or Facebook and they were some of my closest friends from A-Levels. As cold-hearted as people say I am...believe it or not, I do miss them! :p

So today's class with Dr. Goh was incredibly boring! By the 1st hour of class I can see that most of my classmates are either busy chatting, daydreaming, Facebook-ing or sleeping~ I, too felt the drowsy effects like a bloody infection.

I saw Shoony tried to close her eyes and was a bit restless for a moment. I gave her some skittles and she woke up hahaha XD. El nevertheless, was feeling chilly and since Aira had another asthma attack (this time without smoking!), she sat next to me instead lol...and because she complaint to me once that she wished that I was not 100% honest and tell her every single thing...so when I thought about something...I'll just suppressed it. XD. Kristine looked like she in the blues sometimes but I'm pretty sure that she's actually listening tentatively. Good girl!

After class, we went to the photocopy shop to get some copies of our assignment that's due on Friday...Since I don't have a class on Friday, I hope to finish the assignment by tomorrow. Thank God it's nothing biggy and we just need 2 participants. Those who are not in my class of course. Fortunately, I have many people in my head (this people is actually me of course~ who says that cheaters never prosper eh ).

So after that, we got separated from El. Shoony, Kristine, Cheese and I took the bus to the main campus and walked to Secret Recipe since we have like 4 hours to kill before the next class. So we chit-chat about almost everything including topics like 3 guy's favorite parts in a woman. I told Kristine and Shoony that guys loves boobs, legs and butts...they seem to be agreeing.

While we were discussing physical attraction, Shoony will be talking about this stuff like so loud that I think the other patrons were looking and listening to our conversation. I told Shoony that but she doesn't seem to care. She said "I'm not shy to talk about this kinda stuff". Impressive...she even told me that I create a barrier to mask my vulnerability! This was like the best thing she has ever said. Period. I told her that it was superb thinking!

Well as I was saying that today was kind of a reunion, May and Thevam drove all the way here just to come and meet me but I brought Shoony along because she has no where to go. But of course there were no harm done as we were all in the same psych class last year.

However this was May's and Thevam's 1st time to HELP so the were kinda lost for a moment but they found the way in the end. I had to walk all the way from Secret Recipe to take them there.

When I was about to call May in front of the main building, they say me 1st and ran towards me and hugged me like so tight...lol. For the record, I hardly let people to hug me because I'm not used to hugs...but somehow it was different just now lol.

When we reached Secret Recipe, Shoony's expression tells me like she seeing some aliens that she once knew. This was because she was always the quiet one during A-Levels apart from talking to one of her closest friend. So we talked and talked and talked until Shoony had to leave because her class starts at 1400 and held at Wisma I think. While mine will start at 1430 and my class is just 2 floors down.

As May and Thevam was talking to me about their life...May seems to be screwed up in her relationship this past few months as the guy that she previously liked was being such a meanie to her. Thevam too had about the same experience once before but not anymore. Seriously...I was telling them that guys this days really don't know how to treat a lady!...They laughed and May said "Aw Ariff!! we missed your words and sarcasm" . I said "Of course you dooo~ Who doesn't!" hahaha XD.

After a few minutes have passed I soon began to realize that Shoony left the place without paying her bill as well as Cheese's as she promised. I called her while she was about to go off since her class was canceled last minute. I told her to come back and pay because I didn't bring enough change to pay for everyone. Shoony gave me RM70 and I used that to pay for everyone including May's and Thevam's. They wanted to give Shoony back her money but they didn't have the change to do that. So I said that I will give her my money 1st and the next time you two come you give me back the money...

Then as my programming class was about to start, I hugged May and Thevam again and they said they can come here again since it was quite near for them.

In programming class, I was 1 minute late and I saw Farzane there and sat next to her. So before the class started, she taught me some programming language because I have no basics like the other students...so technically I have a huge disadvantage. But I'll show them how Ariff destroys people! (LOL).

After the class has finished, I took a walk with Farzane and had a little chat then she went to the ladies while I make my way to my dad's car. Home I gooo...what a tiring day.

Sophia and Pain

As usual my favorite sports was and has always been martial arts. Having black-belts in Taekwondo and Judo really made me a fighter although my appearance seems to be complimenting the latter because of my build. I learned Judo when I was just 10 years old. But not many people know of this fact because I like to keep it under the radar.

After almost a decade of training martial arts, my reflexes has been notorious at making some people think twice before planning to attack me. I love martial arts!! XD

So every time I went for classes, there are bound to be absolute physicality courtesy of our master. This weeks' class was by far one of the most painful classes as we underwent plyometric exercise which was designed to make us maintain our reflex speeds. This was my 1st training this year and I was unfortunate enough to come when Tony (my current master) had prepared for this training...rawr!!

After the training I told Eshton that this sucked! But yet...we always came back for more. We laughed although our muscles were aching...hahaha XD

On the same day I have my violin class with Cindy, a really cool violin tutor! I never had a music teacher comes close to her coolness! I like her XD. It seems that she's also tutoring one of my classmates from the Psych programme at HELP. I didn't know who she was but 3 days ago she added me in Facebook. Before I add her to my friends list, I asked her who she was. She identified herself as Cindy's student. Thus, I added her.

Her name is Sophia and kinda cute although from the way she write to me, I would say that she's the quiet type and listens to instructions kinda girl. Though she seemed introverted to me, she could really talk to me like a friend. Not much profile I can tell of her from her text and pictures. I'll need more exposure to profile her properly...I have a feeling that its going to happen real soon! Pleased to me you Buddy XD

Ridiculously Unmeticulous

Third day into the 2nd semester and its already getting me pissed off...

So the day starts when I arrived at campus at around 0950 and went straight to the library nearby the auditorium. Here we can make some noise though not too much that it attracts too much attention. The librarians here is much more cheerful than the one in Wisma. The latter's librarians literary can't move their facial muscles! Annoying bastards.

Since I've got nothing to do, I used the Wi-Fi to watch YouTube on my phone. There, I came across 2 acoustic singers that I like. Namely Tyler Ward and Julia Sheer...nice vocals by the way! :)

Minutes past, Cheese sat down in front of me with her new books which I have no idea for which subjects. Her hair looks cool on her although it doesn't seem to look graceful on her yet...but I think she's trying to improve herself...

Later I got fed-up of listening to music, that was when El came through the door and I was picking my 2999th book! El on the other hand was busy with her computer and I don't know what she's doing on it.

A few minutes before class starts, I saw Aira outside of the library and some of the crowd seem to have disappeared. Thus, its time for class.

As we went through the auditorium doors, we saw a massive crowd in it that we could barely find a place to sit. It seems the new students took my beloved seat which forces El, Aira and I to sit at the 2nd row from the front and towards the middle. This place was just 1 row in front of my usual row...and yet it looks weird to me. Unfortunately in the massive crowd, I was unable to locate Kristine. Shoony went to Taiwan I think...bet she's having a nice time.

Today's class was about learning...and we started off with classical conditioning. Although this was the umpteenth time I listen to the same thing over and over again...Dr. Goh actually made it crystal clear than any other lecturer. Mush clearer than Ken. So I don't mind listening to it notwithstanding that my mind wondered away during some parts of the lecture...lol XD

During the class, today was the 2nd time Izram sat with us despite seating next to Aira this time around. I could see that she was annoyed especially when he introduced his ridiculous sex background in an advertisement for toothpaste...I laughed like crazy. Funny and inarticulate.

After the class, all of us went out and left Aira to smoke because she said she wants to go home and come back before her next class which is at 1600 along with El. So Izram and I hitched a ride with El to the main block. There, EL had to make a few turns to find a parking. Then we left to go to have lunch. We went to Subway but unfortunately I accidentally left El's purse in her car. Sorry El!!...Though I offered her to pay for lunch, she refused.

Then later Izram left for his class, and then El and I went separate ways since my class was just 2 floors down and hers was at Wisma I think...

When I got into the class, there was nobody there. Then came a guy from China, Indonesia and God knows where. After a while I can't sit still as the lecturer was not in class even after 20 minutes into class. So I got curious and asked the department on that matter...The most stupidest thing I heard in HELP ever was that they said the lecturer is not here yet, and class will start after 25th January. Useless IT assholes can't even give its students a heads-up for this small but extremely time-wasting problem. F-U!

In the end I had to wait for almost 1.5 hours for my dad to pick me up since it was on short notice...sometimes I'm disappointed at how unmeticulous things can be.

A few hours ago I found out that I got B's for leadership, intro to psych 2 and research methods and a C for a crap subject...thank God that's over. Despite having more than 20 years of experience...they still seem to be unable to learn. What a shame!!

The Wicked Witch of The East

Today's the 2nd day of the semester and since there wasn't any tutorials this week, so all of us could go home early. Also, its our 1st class of quantitative methods which stroke fear in many hearts of psych students.

This class takes 3 hours to complete per week and would last till the end of the semester even though our lecturer told us that we would be completing it way before the time comes...we will soon find out why this statement was scary and creepy.

A short profile on the lecturer Winnie:
She seems to be a nice person but bare in mind that her actions were meant to keep everyone awake. She's kinda obsessive with cleanliness like for example she will use disinfectants after she touches something else or when she has a break. She does not show any sign of compulsion as I need to get a closer view of her office to see this. She obtained a masters for human behavior and therefore I suppose she uses it well to keep the students wide awake and listening actively. She uses a very fast rate of speech to conduct the class to support her cause as to make us listen and not do anything else. From this observation, I would say that she has an accelerated cognitive processing. She doesn't take NO for an answer and most certainly won't take any form of excuses. She's strict and have rules being laid onto us and loves quizzes and punishments...in a way she seems to have a mild sadistic side of her but yet she also sounds fair enough.

Right so as with the profile, I, at 1st thought that she was kinda cool until I heard her speak like a freakin' train! "If we were to think about something else for a second, we wouldn't know what she was talking about after that" (Darshini, 2011). This excerpt sounds perfectly synced with our lecturer's behavior.

She told us to make a group of at least 3 and no maximums. She said that the complication of our group work depends on how many people in the group. The more the harder. So upon hearing this, I looked at El, Kristine and Shoony to get their nod that we're gonna be in the same team again. Which brought me to another side activity during the break- asking Aira whether she wants to join our group or not. She had an asthma attack today and I asked her to put egos aside and nicely asked her, her answer. I sense a slide hesitation but she said she wants to join the group afterall despite the feud with the team. And so our gang was made once again.

Today we were given 3 quizzes, I don't know whether it will be marked or not. We were not be able to answer some questions since we have forgotten some materials from the research methodology class. We had 2 group quizzes and 1 singular quiz. This was the 1st time we were tagged along with Izram. During the break El insisted that I seat next to her. Thus Izram had to seat at my place and I, at Aira's.

At the end of the class it got me thinking, maybe Winnie's methods is in fact good. She gave us the sufficient but highly challenging statistics class...One thing I know for sure. Missing Ms. Winnie's class is not an option!

Right so this is the 1st post of the year 2011 and alreaydy I felt my hands' energy being siphoned of it. This 2nd semester, I enrolled for Quantitative methods, Intro to Psych 1, Intro to Programming and Data Comm.

Today's the 1st day of classes for the 2nd semester and of the year 2011. The day kicks off when I had to wake up at 0545 so that I could reach campus on time as the class starts at 0800. So as usual I reached there at around 0715 and waited for those monkeys with a bag of keys to open the darn doors at 0730. So while waiting, I went online for a few minutes before I go up to the auditorium.

So before I went into the class...I met with the hag! Great...the 1st friendly face I have to see this year had to be her huh.

So I waited in the class for my gals to arrive. Unfortunately the annoying one came 1st. Showing me his new phone while I just tend to make him think that I'm actually listening lol. A few minutes later, Shoony arrived, then Kristine, Aira and then finally El. The last 3 came in during the lecture by Dr. Goh (quite a boring one too!)

So as our lecturer present to us about this subject, the 1st thing I saw on the board was conditioning. Again!! This should be the 4th time in a 6-month period that we have to learn this thing rawr!!

And so after the time flies...one that was full of yawning and some laughing, the class was finally over. My next class will start at 1430. Thus, I have 4.5 hours to kill. So after class I went to the washroom and met the others outside. So we decided to have breakfast at Chillax, our dear favourite relaxing place.

There we sat at a table with 8 seats in which only 7 was occupied. Since it was breakfast time, we couldn't order anything hard nor oily. Therefore, I ordered American breakfast in which they put beef bacon, some scrambled eggs, few hot dogs and 2 slices of bread with salted Anchor butter.

While we were eating, and to be honest I have no idea who actually originated the conversation, the girls seems to be bullying me...Again! They were mumbling about this girl I know from my leadership group (Profile: Marissa). At first I thought they were talking about Farzane, Cheese, Ice and also Izyan, then I came to realize that they were talking about Marissa. Hmmm...I'll get y'all for this one day :)

Later on after breakfast Aira, Izyan and this dude that I have no idea what his name was went out to smoke so some of us waited inside. El called me, then all of us got out and discuss whether or not to go to Tutti Frutti. I actually went because Shoony did because I would be bored if there's no one for me to disturb hihihi XD

So we took the bus to the main campus and we split for a while. I rode shotgun with Aira. Shoony rode with Izyan and El drove alone in her brother's car.

So upon reaching the shop, we made a few rounds since Izyan was nowhere to be seen and yes...I was laughing XD.

This was my 1st time trying out this yogurt shop, so Aira tutored me and suggested which flavors I should take. She told me to get TF and blueberry and then I sprinkled some of those sugary stuff and put some cereals in it too. Aira also took the Hershey's Strawberry syrup and sprayed my cup with it. I saw the others' cups and it looked like art...mine was like a kids' cup so they say. LOL it kinda does anyway XD.

The combination was definitely a superb mix! I love it. Thanks Aira :)

So as we eat, took some pictures and talk a little bit about boobs...I felt uncomfortable because I'm not used to talk about this things with them like I talk to Naughty Gang before (fyi this was the previous girl gang that I always hung out with).

Around to 1315 or so we broke off and El sent Shoony and I back to campus and since my class and her class was in a totally different building, I took the bus to get to the main block.

Here, I was searching high and low for the class and just couldn't find it. So finally I asked one of those IT buggers and they showed me where it was. I went inside the class where there were 2 guys mumbling about movies. There was this guy who said he hated 2012 and Avatar! I was like...this dude has no sense of art at all! Pisshead!

Oh yeah, the classroom looks like a mental ward for computer nerds. Seriously!When the class started, I saw everyone was being such an introvert...not that I mind. Maybe it's because of the 1st day. There, surprisingly, I met Farzane...yaaay finally someone I knew and I was like so bored in class until she came sitting next to me and I started my games muahahaha XD.

All in all, today was a tiring day and since every girl was saying that they love babies I have a small quote for this post. I think I would wanna use quotes as much as I can...even though it may not be related to the events...it sounds sooo ME XD
