I'm moving to tumblr but I'll still keep this blog as it still has my memories in it. Thus I shall link it up with my new blog. Click the link below to be directed to the new site. :p

I Came to Play

Today was the day our psychology results for the 2nd semester came out. I was half excited and the other half of me felt fear as I thought that statistically I have quite a high chance to fail my quantitative methods. 111 on the other hand was giving me the excitement even though I knew that I didn't do quite well.

So I arrived at the main block at around 1030. Aira text me earlier to ask me what time will I be here. But I told her a wrong estimation because I thought the jam would be terrible for sure. Apparently I was wrong...

I went ahead and paid this semester's fees and that nice lady at the cashier talked to me for a bit. I was really getting boring with her talking about the new shopping complex coming up in Shah Alam. She was talking like as if I knew the damned place. But I just listened to her anyway. I guess working inside that room after all these years must've been boring. So I just told her that I have a class to go to. But instead I just sat at the couch right beside the counter so that she won't be able to see me.

While waiting for Aira to arrive, I read my book. Then all of a sudden a dude from Business Psych came up to me and talked about his results. I told him that when I checked a few minutes earlier it wasn't there. He told that it has just been uploaded. He lent me his iPad that was so heavy so that I could log in.

To my surprise, I passed my quantitative methods and of course my 111 (IT subjects'll come maybe next week). I was at the top of the world when I saw my grade over and over again just to be sure I ain't making a mistake lol.

But unfortunately I don't remember that dude's name. He was waiting for his friends to come and so we talked about games a lot. Apparently we have the same interests on the type of the games like FPS' and RPG's. After he left, it doesn't take long until Aira arrived and gave me a call.

Again she was wearing long pants for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. I told her that I passed my exams and she said she'll check it. At the counter while she's lining up, she moved her mouth saying that she failed her 111 but passed her 106. I was actually expecting the reverse. She was a little bit panicky throughout the day whenever that particular subject springs up in a conversation.

I took the bus with her and she made a dental appointment in it. When we reached the KPD, we have 30 minutes to spare and so Aira decided to get herself some coffee and so we went to Subway.

As we got in the class and sat down for a while. Aira asked Deepak some questions about out blog. She asked what kinda things does he expect us to put in it and stuff like that. I asked what kind of view should it be in...he said whichever's fine with him but he said that 3rd person perspective will look a lot more professionalized. Hence I opted to use the 3rd...hopefully my team does it too.

The class went on and on and he told us that on the 4th week, there'll be no class as he will be getting married. The class clapped and then planned with him for a replacement class. Although the timing was crappy...be I can't blame the dude. Indians normally have a specific date or time to do stuff...I suppose his family's still that old fashioned type of people.

After that we went to the car park store, Aira and El bought something and then we headed to the KPD A for our Anthropology class.

As usual, about 30 minutes flew away just because of the poor coordination of the Comm department. Completely ridiculous! We had to change classes just because the AC weren't working...among other things~ And when we finally settled down in the other class I could see about a quarter of the class disappeared. Lol XD

Our lecturer was as boring and monotonous as always and apparently that had an effect on El as she doesn't seem to stop talking at one time. It was very hilarious indeed. I was bored too and I play some games in class and in the end decided to play with my camera instead. I took El's pictures of during and the end of class. Her facial expression dramatically change...she wanted to take a picture of me as well but thankfully she missed it...Suckerrrr :p

During Anthropology Class Expression

After The Lecturer Announced End of Class
P.S Before I forget...for the blog assignment, each team member has to create their own post consisting of their interests, dreams and also their ambition. Deepak advised us to try and not make it too long nor too short. Be concise...And one of the group members have to present about the group and how we met and et cetera. I suppose Hadi would do the honors~

Synergic

Present Packaging (Written by Aira)
 Izyan's Surprise The Movie (Sideways Don't Ask~)

Right I have a feeling that today's blog is going to be rather long but I'll try my best to keep it short as I have 2 blogs to cover. One is in my perspective and the other as a group.

So firstly, I arrived at Wisma at around 1100 and since I was definitely sure that none of my group members were here yet, I went to the library to read my book. Then after 45 minutes, Lem texted me saying that he's already in Chillax. I packed up and went straight there.

At Chillax, Lem got us a very nice place to seat at the back of the restaurant. Lem was there listening to his music and when I got in, he turned it off. While waiting for the others to come, we chatted about his holiday and some of his hobbies. It seems he was a collector of figurines of which I've never heard of. Apparently he likes gelato (Italian ice-cream) as much as I do.

Around 1200 Hadi got there right on time and we're still waiting for Aira and El to arrive. Worried that Aira overslept again, I called her. She said she was on the way. Next I gave El a call and she told me that her father told her to have lunch at home and so she'll be a little late but she was already on the way thank God~

When they arrive, I saw that Aira was wearing a baju kurung. We chatted and discussed about our discussion while eating our lunch. Simultaneously, we talk about our interests, so-called dreams as well as our aspirations.

Hadi, being the philosophical type, he said that there was no point in looking into the future because it always changes. Although his logic to his answer was perfectly understandable I'd still call him daft in this sort of matter...who the hell doesn't dream about the future??? Unless one doesn't have brains...well of course they wouldn't be now would they~

Anyways, the teamwork that the team show was nonetheless impressive for people who I've never worked with before. But nothing beats my original team.

Lem the skinny dude who seems introverted, reserved and nerdish was being very supportive and an easy guy to get along and talk with. He has this peaceful aura that radiates from him. Good lad although he's a bit naughty at times...but anyone who's naughty can be a friend of mine anytime. Unless he/she is also a jackass~

After Aira had her usual puff, we went up to the 9th floor computer lab to create a blog for the team. Unfortunately after we've just created the blog, a lecturer came in and announced that there will be a class commencing soon. Therefore everyone that wasn't part of the class were asked to vacate the lab. Thus my team left the lab and went out to the area outside the computer lab and do our stuff there.

Before we dismiss ourselves, we discussed about what title to put for our blog. In the end we used Hakuna Matata, a Swahilian phrase that means "There are no worries". It sounds perfect to me I must say...and I gave the idea for the blog's url which says Verita Astra which means the Star of Truth in Latin. After this idea was available to be used I said to the team that I should have used that for myself because it sounds original and super awesome!! Shit...lol :P

Later, about 15 minutes before class starts, Aira wanted to make a Twitter account and so we've set it. But unfortunately there weren't enough time to set it up properly and thus her 1st tweet did not appear on my wall. But never mind...there's always tomorrow.

We went to class at 1600. It was Career Guidance (PSY 110a) and again our lecturer was Justin. As usual with the way he holds the mic has always been specifically related to him.
He told us to buy the text book worth RM 10 when it was actually should not be more than RM 4. Where did the extra 6 came from was anybody's guess. Luckily the class weren't as boring as I previously thought. If I'm not mistaken, he said that the ratio of assignment and final exam marks would be 50 : 50 gooooood! And also we have to do some kinda tests to gain extra marks as well do a counseling session as an individual and as a group. Fair enough I would say.

Oh yeah since yesterday we bought a book present for Izyan, we gave it to her in class and she seemed happy hahaha XD

In the class, El, Aira and I saw Shoony in there seating with someone whom I don't know. It seems she curled her hair. Then after class we met and I told her that she looked fairer. We registered for the testing session for next week I think on Tuesday...I'm not sure when so I'll ask in the Psych Gang later.

Shoony and I caught up with stories since its been about a month since we've met. Although we're not as close in class, we're still very close outside. She told me that her sister's getting married next week and she's the bridesmaid. I thought I had to wait for my dad for quite some time...but all of a sudden my dad arrived 15 minutes after from the said 40 minutes leaving Shoony alone to wait for her transport lol. And I saw Colleen waiting for a cab before my dad arrived and she was disappointed that her first cab fetch was giving her the thumbs down. She continued to wait...pity her.

The jam was not as bad as yesterday but it was close. Unlike yesterday, I arrived home at 1830. I started my team's blog again after Lem made me the admin. Unmistakeably, El, Hadi and Aira have not approved of the invitation to write on the website and so I couldn't make them an admin even if I wanted to. Furthermore, I'd not be able to complete today's post as I have no textbook to refer to its definitions and stuff like that. But no worries...I'll not miss any details of today's post as I have typed it all out here...it seems that this post wasn't as short as I hoped it would be lolzzz XD

Sucker Punch

Well today's timetable was indeed such a terrible one as for the first time ever, I was out from home for almost 12 bloody hours because the dreadful jam was included as well.

So I woke up at 0530 and left the house at around 0615 and I reached Wisma at around 0700. When I got up to the 3rd floor where the MC100 class would be held, I found that it was kinda dark and creepy as there were no one there at that moment. Thus I sat near the front counter of that floor.

After 10 minutes or so, Sophia came and she went straight into the loo. When she came out, she sat next to me. A huge improvement from yesterday lol. We talked about music as usual and it seems that she's taking 1 hour lesson for violin because she's taking the exams. Whereas me, I only learn it for fun XD

When the doors to the class were open we went inside and waited. Deepak, our lecturer, came in a few minutes after. He seemed to be fashionably early...good for him! He looked at me and asked how come I'm here so early as he said normally, he always got there earlier than the rest of the class. So I told him that my dad send me stuff and blablabla. Then he asked Sophia the same question. She gave him almost the same answer...

In the next few minutes, the class was getting more and more filled up with my classmates. Hadi got in and sat next to me and then Lem got in and sat next to him. Aira and El came shortly after. It seems the whole team sat together today...awesome XD

Today's MC100 class was very funny and fun indeed...he continuously made funny comments. I'd say that its good since it was too early in the morning to start the class anyway and so his seemingly funny joke was a wakeup call for me :)

He asked me a question as I was the 1st guy who got into class. I answered wrong hahaha...I didn't even read the question lol :) But had fun with anyway~

Towards the end of the class, Deepak told us to write something about the communication phases. I seriously had no idea what to write about and so I just made something up and put it in point form :p

And then later on, he unveiled to us on what we're supposed to do as a group project. This was his actual instructions: Create a blog that best represent your team synergy. The blog should include writings and multimedia elements (photos, videos, graphic, etc.) that best market each and every group member interest, dreams, and aspirations. So it seems that we're going to make a blog as a team. This shouldn't be too hard unless conflicts will do the job...Anyways we're going to meet up tomorrow at 12 but the location has yet to be set and so I still have no idea where to go at 12 besides that it'll be either in Wisma or at Chillax.

Anyways...after the class our team had a short discussion and AOE 1 came to listen to us talking uninvited. He continually did so until El and Aira got quite irritated because AOE 1 was following them like as if they were stuck by the hip (Although it sounds disgusting at that!). So Aira tried to shake that POS by telling him that we're all going somewhere. At 1st, he still followed us and all 3 of us were thinking of the same thing "Please go away" lolz. Thank God finally he did...I thought we'd never get rid of him~

Yesteday Aira told us about this cheap bookstore that was on a warehouse sale. So we took the bus to the Batai car park and hitched a ride with Aira.

As we reached, the store was just barely opened and most of the shops were still closed. So we walked around and I told them that if they want to go and see their bags or clothes or whatever...please don't mind me because I've been going with my mum since ever. So I'm already used to it. So after a short while both of them went in a shop to buy something or whatever and so I waited outside while listening to my music and playing my game.

When they got out, coincidentally, the bookshop opened as well. We got in there and I was astounded by the vast variety of books they have on sale there. Many of the books I have not read before was seen there and I was cursing at myself for not bringing extra cash. Thus I found it hard to select a book and in the end I found the book that received a very high remark from many people. The book's called The Nipper...been searching for this book for almost a year...Thanks a lot Aira :)
After that we went to Nando's and I tried on the extra hot peri-peri. And I also put on the hot sauce. But when I tasted it, it wasn't as hot as I thought it would be. But my tears did came out anyway...lol XD

The manager of the store was El's cousin's husband if I'm not mistaken. What surprised Aira and I was that when El saw him, she blushed like an apple...reason? I've not the slightest clue. After that, Aira bought a bun or something for the poor looking guard at the car park (Seriously he almost makes me feel sad). Then we went to Giant, Aira bought some stuff for the Anthropology class. Then we head back to the car park at Batai.

When we arrived there, the bus just left the place and so we had to wait for it. While we waited, Aira was swarmed by some kind of insect or insects that seemed to have bitten all the way up her arms...If I'm not mistaken there were approximately 9 of it while I got only 1 on my left hand...

When we got back to campus, the class had already started but since the class was ridiculously small for our class, many students had to swarm in and many had to stand.

I saw a place to sit by the table and there was a foreigner there but of course I didn't know where she's from and I sat next to her. After a moment when our lecturer went out to get our class changed, I offered her a chewing gum and she swiftly said thank you first before she took one from the bottle. We talked for a while and she told me her name was Chloe which means green in Greek. I was surprised with that because she has green eyes as well...maybe her parents gave her that because of her eyes lol.

She told me that she's from Melbourne and that in this semester, she's doing 106 as well. And get this...she has 6 hours of that each week!! Daaaaaamnnnn...

When the class finally started in the auditorium after changing the venue twice, he's teaching still sucks ass! 98% of the time I have no idea what he was saying...so most of the time I just chat with Aira and disturbed Darshini (Actually she started it!).

The best part of my entire 1st year was that Aira came unnoticed from the back and touched my cheek with her cold hands. In the blink of an eye, she was sucker punched in the face with my right hand knuckles. Tears were dripping through her eyes and she was obviously in much pain. There were many people who witnessed the event and they were still looking at me afterwards.
It became quite a commotion in that part of the class and Darshini told me that I didn't even look to the back and suddenly my hands moved at hit Aira. I felt sorry for her as her lips were clearly out of shape...that's gotta hurt. She said it bled a little...

I didn't even realize that it was Aira and frankly speaking...I didn't even know what she did to me until she told me after she got back from the toilet with El after quite some time. Sorry Aira...

Well that's why many people just don't want to fight with me :( But I can't turn it off even if I wanted to...my reflex speed is 3 times faster than an average human which is 0.4s compared to 1.2s of the average human. Combine the acceleration of the punch times the weight of my hand, that will give the Net Force of the hand as F = ma.

Oh yeah...it seems everyone was naughty today. Aira was making me imagining about boobs to wake me up (It was for her as well I think :p)...El was obviously the centerpiece~

A New Team Was Made

So today's class starts at 1600 and my dad wants to buy an earphone because 2 days ago he found the mythical world of YouTube. Lol yeah I laughed as it took him that long to realize the fun. He seemed to be hooked onto it for these few days. He said to me yesterday that he wants to buy it after my class ends today at 1800. But I told him that I don't like to go anywhere else after Uni as I just wanted to go home and have a hot shower first. Thus I told him that we could go in the morning before he sends me to Uni.

Consequently, I had to wake up quite early to go with him. He seriously had no idea on the difference of a headphone and an earphone until today when I explained to him. So we went to Summit and as we reached there, I see that most of the shops were still closed. Well what do you expect? It's 1000 in the morning! But luckily the Best Denki shop was open and I told him to buy the good one which costs 100 bucks.

While I was in the car, Aira texted me saying that El won't be joining us for lunch as she would be late. I just said ok to her. After a few minutes, El texted me saying that she won't be coming for class as well as she was not feeling well. At the time, Aira said she'd be there by 1300. Obviously that wasn't the case~

I reached Wisma around 1200 and at first, I went to the library and saw that it was bloody full. I didn't even think of looking at the DSA as I'm definitely sure that it'll be full as usual. Therefore at last, I went up to the 9th floor com lab.

There, I went on and off between going online and read my book waiting for Aira to come.

After a few hours of waiting till the clock struck 1300, I finally got a text message from Aira and was hoping that she has arrived. But when I open the text message, I read that she just woke up hahahaha...I was actually thinking whether did this girl text me during her sleep or what...because it sounds to me like she was~

So I waited another hour for Aira to come and I continued what I was doing earlier.

At around 1410, I saw her waiting at her "House" and then we went for lunch at Chillax. I was quite surprised that Chillax was partially empty at that time of day XD I ordered Chicken Chop and Aira ordered a roast chicken that looked kinda small for someone with her appetite~

Oh and she lent me a book on Freud's dream interpretation thing. Can't wait to read it. She also told me that there's a bookshop that sells books in a veeeeeery low price.

After lunch, we went to her "House" again for her usual puff and then we went to Wisma's 3rd floor, waiting for the class before us to end. We met Lem by the lift and we sat together all the way through the class.

Lecture was totally boring today as most of the stuff that he was talking about has been repeating since the day I did I/O Psychology in A-Levels. The lecturer gave us a 5-minute break of which Aira and I went to the car park small store. She bought a few stuff like chocolates some rolls and a sour thingy. When the class resumes, apparently almost everyone in class can't stand the additional torture anymore and thus made quite some noise. Luckily the resuming of the class only lasted for about 20 minutes. Thank God!!! XD

As the class ended, Hadi proposed that we hand in our group member's names to him straight away. And so we did. But since El wasn't there with us and I kinda forget the last 2 digits of her student ID, I asked Izram what was his because I remember that the difference between the 2 was only by 15 points. Thus our quota for the Social and Business Communication (MC 100) group has been fulfilled and Hadi will not be going into my A-List. Period.

So since we have to make a team of 5 for this particular subject and Shoony as well as Kristine was not in our Group A, El, Aira and I needed to find 2 people to fill in their shoes. Thank God we didn't get any monkeys nor baboons. I have a feeling that we'll all work well.

When Aira and I got separated at the waiting area, Sophia, the girl who has the same violin tutor as I am sat near me and for once we talked for quite some time until her dad picked her up right before mine did lol...

And today's road does not have any jam whatsoever, which was quite weird because it was supposed to be rush hour. So I reached home in 30 minutes yaaaay XD

Centum

This particular post is in fact my 100th post. Hence the title of the post - Centum, which stands for the Roman numeral of (C) with a value of 100. Also, today's my first day in the 3rd semester.

I arrived at Wisma this morning at around 1030 and I saw Aira texted me on my whereabouts. I said I was here and asked her where she was but she didn't reply me. So when I got up, I called her and she saw me first. Apparently she came at the exact time as she said she would be...

So we walked on to find El sitting by the bench. Then Aira was asking El whether the top that she's wearing is new and El replied no. But simultaneously, she took a new phone out of her pocket and we had a laugh hahaha XD Then they were talking about cats. El was complaining that the Persian cat (whatever its name is~) always disturbed her. Aira offered her kitty advise like she's a vet for pussycats (which is not a bad thing of course) hahaha XD. Then she asked me what I did during my short break. And I said that I didn't do anything much rather than playing games and blablabla...

Later they finally decided to have breakfast at Chillax and today was the first time that I didn't eat anything at Chillax as I have had my breakfast with my dad earlier. El said that she needs to go back for a moment because of her brother or something like that.

As we chat, El told us that her short-term relationship has ended. Conspicuously, the lad doesn't have any interest in El anymore and as El told us the story, I formulated a theory but I didn't want to tell her. Although she said that I could tell her just this once, I steadfastly refused. But I'll put in the parameter of my question here just in case I need to recall. One question that says it all...to me anyway~

*Who always started the conversation?*

After much procrastination, El finally left after I told her the time. I was with Aira for a while in Chillax and then we went to her "House" for her to puff. Aira talked about her visits during the holidays and showed me her new watch and bag. She told me that her D&G watch was bought by that monkey boyfriend of hers and I told her that for someone I dislike, he obviously has good taste. I knew the moment at that moment that Aira was the one who chose that particular petite dark pink watch on her left hand. She asked my opinion and I just told her that it doesn't suit her at all and that her boyfriend seems to know what defined her.

At 1130, I told her that we should go to class and then she told El that we'd be waiting in class and save a seat.

The class was partially filled as it seems there weren't many students who took the A group for the moment. El came in and we sat at about 80% from the back. After a few minutes, Izram called me and Aira told me to answer it. Izram was asking about the classes and being annoyed, I just said yes to everything he said regardless.

When the lecturer got in, we felt that we are siting quite to the back and should sit one row forward. At the same time, Ishver came in front of us and sat in front of me. I was annoyed yet again as all of us knew that he has a smell that could KO us. So we changed back to where we came from. After 3 minutes, we decided to sit to the absolute front.

The lecturer was a pretty much teaching himself. Laughing at his own jokes and some of us laughed for fun. Aira was being asked of her name and was numerously pointed by the lecturer, who seemed to like this class as we're not a noisy class. The class was boring but since I was sitting at the front most of the class and the lecturer kept lookingunat at me, I can't help but to show a smile now and then... :p

The class finished 0.5 hour early. We took a walk to Subway and the girls noticed my transition lenses. I was shocked actually that the lenses adapted quickly and thus I don't have to strain my eyes to see when the Sun was out. The girls bought coffee and then we sat down at Subway for a while and I taught them a little bit of British slang as well as French language's negative forms. We wanted to look for a book in the bookshop downstairs but unfortunately, it was closed.

We waited for the Anthropology class while trying to keep ourselves out of Izram's line of sight. We waited with the crowd. But what came to disappoint us was that the venue for the class was changed last minute as it seemed that the class that we're supposed to use was being used by another class. So in the end we went to the 4th floor's Lecture theater. Luckily for the 3 of us, we grabbed a seat at the front because that room was not meant for such a huge class.

The lecturer got in after 15 minutes gasping for air while sweating a lot. The lecturer was indeed old but I was guessing that he was 60 tops. He speaks with his lower lip as the upper lip appears not to be moving at all. This in turn, makes it difficult for most of us in the class to fully grasp what he has to say. He seems to have a monotonous way to teach with a style that reminds me of the priest in one of Mr. Bean's comedy show in which he fell asleep lol XD

Later on, a lady came in and told us that we could use the auditorium where we had our quantitative methods class last semester. Quite an eerie feeling going back in there. The students told him that he should use the mic but it seems he clearly doesn't know how to use it properly as normally, people would tilt it to their mouth when they want to speak instead of holding it vertically to their mouth. Which was what he did exactly.

On the board, he gave us his HP and house number. The first ever lecturer I know who actually gave his house number publicly...and as I saw his email address that has 1941 in it, I calculated that he was actually 70 years old but he definitely look younger as he told us that he would go for jogging sometimes.

It is not because that he can't teach the subject, it's just that the way he spoke made us unable to understand. Even though I don't understand what he said in the class today at all unless he's sitting right in front of me, I don't need to listen to him to know that I'll not regret taking anthropology. It seems that the smelly guy said that he's thinking of dropping the subject as he said the lecturer looks kinda blur. I was thinking to myself (Well at least my nose will have its peace and in this class...the more the merrier rule doesn't apply!)

At 1600, he was still teaching as he said that he wants to compensate for the lost time during the delay prior to the class. Which was actually 15 minutes. Izram just told me just now that the class went on until 1700 and he was complaining a lot. So I was thinking to myself that if he doesn't like it...why was he stupid enough to sit there like an idiot and then tell me this. Apparently he is a moron...I rest my case~

I realized that this is indeed my lengthiest post. It just a coincidence that this is my 100th post and there were loads of things to talk about on this eventful day. And it seems that I can't escape from presenting in MC 100 class as everyone will be required to talk for at least 5 minutes. El, Aira and I are currently desperate to look for team members. Izram was a unanimous HELL-NO. But luckily we got Hadi as our teammate. That is if he could remember it and not go into another group mindlessly...If he do that, he'll be going straight into my A-List (Short for: Axis of Evil List)

Antecedence III

Well the III in the title was meant for the 3rd semester of my Psychology degree which is about to begin on the 16th.

It seems that I'll be doing 3 subjects this semester which includes Career Guidance (110a) and Social and Business Comm for the core subjects and Intro to Anthropology (ITA) for the free elective. I chose ITA because it sounds interesting and we're going to do human science in it.

Although this semester, I'll be reuniting with El and Aira, Shoony and Kristine would not be joining us as they said that they'd only do 1 or 2 subjects as they will be going to Korea soon for some Summer programme or something like that. So I'll only see them on Fridays for the Career Guidance class.

Oh yeah it seems that our lecturer for the 110a class would be none other than good ol' Justin, our LLS lecturer from the 1st semester. I like his style of teaching but never his way of setting up the questions.

Izyan told me that she'll only do 2 subjects this semester and thus her tenure at HELP shall be prolonged by another semester if I'm not mistaken. But she seems fine with it though~

I've been having around 10 days of break and I've done nothing much than watching tv, playing my X360 and play around with my super-speed Unifi that was installed on the day my exams finished :) Because of this distraction, I've not been reading my books as per usual hahaha sorry books XD

AOE 1 called me yesterday and as much as I don't want to pick up...it was the movie time that did the job. What an idiot...its not like he can't send me a message through Fb. Definitely an idiot nonetheless~
